This store is very busy. Expect to find clothes on top of more clothes here. It certainly is not for the faint of heart. You should plan to spend a decent amount of time hunting the racks for hidden gems. The store also has a men’s section, although the woman’s section is much more extensive. The prices are very reasonable, as well. One of the more entertaining finds is in the back of the store near the shoes where you will find a huge pile of Reebok sneakers. Although this is a nice store, if you are looking for luxury, you may find some of the other locations on this list a bit more appealing.
BIS Boutique Solidaire
Location: 7 Bd du Temple, 75003 Paris | http://www.bisboutiquesolidaire.fr/
You will find mostly secondhand fast-fashion pieces and other less expensive brands at this vintage store, although there are a fewer higher-end brands to be found on the racks. The store is well organized and the pieces are all well cared for. But, you should still double check each item thoroughly as I found a few tops with stains. There is a decent men’s section in the store too. Even though the store is rather small, it is definitely worth taking a look around it.
Thanx God I’m a V.I.P.
Location: 12 Rue de Lancry, 75010 Paris | http://www.thanxgod.com/
My new favorite vintage store! This store is huge (and also includes a men’s section). Everything in the store is organized by color and season. Most of the items are high-end, but the prices are very reasonable. An example of one unique find – a beautiful Burberry leather jacket with an authentic fur collar for under 200 euros. The shop also has a lot of petite and smaller sizes. One feature that I absolutely loved were the photos along the walls. Above each section are photos that show how to style a particular nearby piece in the store.
One last item to note, the shop has its own line of dresses, sandals, coats, gloves, scarves, and berets named Maison Chateigner, which can be found near the front of the store in the cold weather section. Everyone in the shop is really helpful and speaks English too!
Super Vintage
Location: 11 Rue des Petites Écuries, 75010 Paris
If you are looking for quirkier vintage finds – items that simply would qualify as fun – this is the place. I spotted a lot of vintage luggage, such as TWA flight attendant bags, and a handmade denim purse repurposed from a pair of jeans. The store is quite small, but one glance up and you will find shelves full of goodies. The owner of this shop was also incredibly kind and spoke English, as well.
Love & Dress
Location: 45 Rue d’Hauteville, 75010 Paris
A decent sized store with a lot of nice items. You will definitely find vintage luxury items here, such as YSL blazers, and also some quirkier items like the Betty Boop white button down that I picked up. The prices are good, although some items seemed a little overpriced. There are not many petite sizes in the store, but the owner can help you figure out how to pull off the oversized look. The owner is very nice and speaks English.
RoseMarket Vintage
Location: 19 Rue Milton, 75009 Paris
This shop is definitely the most expensive on the list, but it had some of the most unique finds of any of the stores visited. For example, an original authentic Pierre Balmain blouse from the original designer. The fabric and fit were absolutely divine. There are a lot of very old pieces and true gems in the store. The store is small and there are quite a few items located on the racks, but it really is worth the time and energy to look through each rack. Again, the owner of this shop is incredibly nice and helpful and speaks English.
Antirouille
Location: 2 Rue Gérando, 75009 Paris | http://antirouille-boutique.blogspot.com/
If you are looking for a Burberry trench coat for under 100 euros, check this place out. The store has both men and women’s items. And, unlike the other shops on the list, this store also has children’s clothing. Many of the items I looked at did not have labels, but the items were of high-quality (definitely no fast fashion here) and very reasonably priced. For example, I found a green leather bomber jacket for 70 euros!
