The Style
I purchased this Ted Baker pleated ruffle skirt because I simply could not pass up the cute pleats and ruffles across the front of the skirt. The top is also Ted Baker, part of the Colour By Numbers Collection (shop Colour by Numbers here). I simply fell in love with the telephones! I paired the skirt with a pair of sheer black tights, black Christian Louboutin heels, and threw my J Crew black coat (similar style here) over my shoulders to complete the look.
The Mood
You may have noticed, but I have a slight love affair with ruffles. They add such a lady like elegance to any outfit (in my opinion at least). And, pleating the ruffles so they could run across the skirt, really stood out to me. It is just like Ted Baker – bringing fun into an otherwise ordinary navy skirt with pleated ruffles!!
