The Style
I wanted to pull-off a neutral-ish look that still retained a bit of pattern and texture. So, I paired these high-waist button pants with this pale pink sweater – both items from Sézane (a French fashion brand). To me, the pants are the fun part of the outfit, so I kept the accessories to a minimum, a simple necklace and, of course, a pair of sky high heels. For a more professional look, I tuck the sweater in all the way, however, when time for my after-work activities, I tend to only tuck the front of the sweater for a more casual look.
The Mood
Last time I was in Paris I sought out the nearest Sézane Appartement. I just had to see why everyone was raving about this French fashion brand. Well, let’s just say, it did not take me long to figure out why women all around the world have come to know and love this brand! I snapped up this sweater as soon as I saw it – made of wool but not itchy, I knew it would be perfect for fall and winter. The pants are similarly made of wool and they are lined, so legs are safe too. Since that visit, I have strongly gravitated to each of Sézane’s collections. They truly do capture quintessential French-girl style.
