I was walking through J.Crew a couple weeks ago when I spotted (no pun intended) this leopard print tippi sweater and the sailor skirt in double serge wool. As I tried on the skirt, I instantly fell in love with the fit, the material, the color and the buttons. Everything about it just made me feel like I was about to have fun and as the cold, dreary days of fall begin to roll into town, I knew the yellow could serve as my new sun. I decided to wear my new gray over-the-knee boots by Halogen, which I purchased during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, and my gray Salvatore Ferragamo bag (great version here) to finish off the whole look.
