The Style
I purchased this gold faux fur coat (now on sale at Nordstrom Rack) during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I couldn’t wait to wear it. The coat is by Halogen and it’s perfect for the warmer days of winter and anytime throughout the spring or fall. I layered the coat over a cashmere sweater from Madewell and a gold wool mini skirt from J.Crew (similar style from J.Crew here) and then finished off the look with my Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee Tieland boots in Coffee Brown.
The Mood
It seems the warm days of winter are now behind us and the snowy days are starting. I actually really look forward to snow each season and I am so excited for that crisp winter weather. Fortunately, it will only be really cold for about two or three months, which definitely makes it easier to get through the coldest days of winter. Nonetheless, I am excited to start a new year – faux fur coats are the thing for winter 2019/2020 so expect to see a lot in many different colors on the blog and my Instagram.
