I thought I would start off this week by sharing 5 things that you probably don’t know about me. I hope you enjoy!
Trekkie Me!
I say it loud and proud — I am a Trekkie. I don’t go to Star Trek conventions, but that’s only because they usually are not close to the Washington D.C. area and, when they are, I learn about them too late to attend. I’ve seen every single episode of Star Trek the Next Generation, Star Trek Voyager and Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Live long and prosper!
Film!
Two door shelves in my refrigerator are overflowing with film. I love film cameras but, in order to use them, I need film! I own all types of film, including discontinued film from Kodak, so it is important that I preserve it. By placing film in the refrigerator, I am able to extend the life of these priceless gems.
Body Pillow Snuggles!
I sleep with a body pillow and hold onto that thing for dear life every single night. Legit, life changing.
Conscious Dreamer!
I am a conscious dreamer, which means that I can control my dreams. Have you ever seen the movie Inception? Well, if not, it is an awesome movie and you should rent/download it immediately. Basically, I can manipulate my dreams just like they do their dreams and others in the movie. I have not figured out how to jump into anyone else’s dreams like they do in the movie, but I am working on that.
KitchenAid Mixer!
I am a baker! When I’m hungry, I tend to cook cupcakes, cookies and muffins in lieu of actual food. I’m trying to be healthier but who doesn’t love the KitchenAid. And, best of all, it is PINK! God bless the color pink!
My Style
I love when J Crew decides to bring back old school classics with a new school twist. This sweater is warm, vibrant and, in case you didn’t know, mustard will be trending soon. The sweater is available in a multiple colors, including millennial pink and navy. I purchased this button-down denim skirt from Madewell — I know I’ve said it before, but Madewell denim is my favorite. I added my latest pair of Bucketfeet shoes (High Five!! Hurry They’re On Sale!) to help bring a sunny yellow from my top to my toes!
