The Style

Just as quickly as it cooled down, it warmed back up. Fortunately, I still have plenty of transitional pieces I can rock, such as this dress from Madewell. It is a simple black dress, but very versatile and soft. To add a pop of color, I paired it with my favorite Stuart Weitzman red slides. Since it is a transitional season, my bomber jacket from the Victoria Beckham for Target collection completes the look. If I swap out the slides for heels, the entire look can transition from day to night.

The Mood

I ate a ton of Halloween leftover candy at work today and combine that with the TWO donuts I had for dinner and I’m on a sugar high. Even though I have definitely eaten enough sugar to negate my 6am workout, I am still exhausted from a long day. There has been so much craziness at work, combined with my search for a new apartment and, needless to say, I am a bit exhausted. Fortunately, I have a good weekend coming up, which will be filled with good girlfriends and lots of fun!
